On October 30, 2025, emlyon business school officially appointed Dr. Wenlong Xing as the Dean of its Asia Campus. In this role, Dr. Xing will oversee the strategic development of the campus, strengthen academic collaboration, and advance the school’s global partnerships across the region.

Dr. Xing holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) and graduated from China University of Mining and Technology, École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy, and Rennes School of Business in France. With a solid academic background spanning China and France, he brings extensive insights into global management and cross-cultural leadership.

Before joining emlyon business school, Dr. Xing held senior management roles in several well-known French multinational companies, including Spie, Thales, SNPE, Vallourec, and Safran. Over the course of more than thirty years of professional experience, he has worked across multiple industrial sectors and developed strong expertise in international management, organizational development, and strategic transformation. His leadership is expected to further strengthen the Asia Campus’ ability to connect academic excellence with global industry practice.

Dr. Xing expressed his commitment to continuing emlyon business school’s mission of educating responsible leaders, deepening collaboration with universities, enterprises, and innovation ecosystems across Asia, and enhancing students’ learning experience and international exposure opportunities. His goal is to support the development of future talent equipped with global vision and practical capability.
