Through this lecture and interaction, Professor Thierry Nadisic, Doctorate Advisor for Global DBA program, emlyon business school, will expose the topic on “Subjective Well-being”, a capacity to feel more positive than negative emotions in the long run and to be engaged in meaningful projects. Rooted on the theory of Positive Psychology, Professor Nadisic will demonstrate this science dedicated to the analysis of the way people build their subjective well-being in their personal and working life. In addition, Professor Nadisic will interact with participants to diffuse certain strategies and exercises can be easily learnt and applied.

Dr. Thierry Nadisic

His research is regularly presented at international conferences and in academic journals in management and organizational psychology. Thierry co-authored a book entitled “Social justice and the experience of emotion” in 2010 (Routledge Academic). As a founding member of the research group OJBERG, Thierry co-organizes the biennale international conference on behavioral ethics and organizational justice (Paris in 2017). He was awarded the 2009 dissertation of the year prize from the HEC foundation, and in 2016, he has received the “Best Research paper” prize awarded by the A.G.R.H (French Speaking Academy of Research in Management and Human Resources).

Mrs. Caroline Zhou

Caroline Zhou has been leading IECL China since 2012 and she has been successful in building IECL China from scratch to the premium provider in coaching and leadership solutions in China. Caroline has brought 20 years of working experience in the field of marketing, management consulting in M&A, human capital consultancy as well as business school management. Caroline’s management experience includes the position of China Director for a London headquartered multinational company with global presence. She has also held a senior management position with the leading business education institution.

She is Professional Certified Coach by ICF, and a MCC candidate. Prior to the DBA study, she holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School and MA from Shanghai International Studies University. Her current DBA thesis focuses on "The Effectiveness of Coaching Expatriates and Returnees in Multinational Corporations (MNCs) in China”.
