Guaranteed scholarships

As a socially responsible organisation, emlyon business school helps students finance their MBA by offering guaranteed scholarships to qualifying applicants. If you are eligible for one of these scholarships, you will not be required to make a specific financial aid request – you will simply need to download the qualification certificate and attach it to your application.

Excellence scholarship – 30%

A scholarship of 30% is granted to candidates with a GMAT score of over 650

The Diversity Scholarships – 20%

The first student enrolled from each nationality

Executive woman scholarship – 20%

A scholarship of 20% is granted to women

Early bird scholarship – 20%

A scholarship of 20% is granted to candidates who apply before the end of December 2018 for the September 2019 intake

Alumni recommendation – 10%

An additional 10% reduction in tuition fees is granted if the candidate is recommended by an alumni or  alumnus of an MBA program of emlyon business school. The candidate must know this alumnus either personally or professionally

(Please note, guaranteed scholarships cannot be accumulated, but if several categories are applicable to the individual’s situation, they will be granted the highest percentage.)

External Scholarships

We strongly advise that you also do your research to find local scholarships that you could be eligible for. Each country offers a number of scholarships which can be found on the Campus France website, an organisation dedicated to helping foreign students study in France.

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program was established by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. Please visit the website for more information.

Cost of Living in Lyon

Estimation of living expenses:

- Rent : 400-600€ (possibility for government aide)

- Utilities : 50-100€ per month

- Food : 40-50€ per week

- Metro card : 30-60€ per month

- Extra activities : 100-200€ per month
