emlyon Business School
Founded in 1872 by the Lyon Chamber of Commerce, emlyon business school welcomes 7,260 students, representing over
90 nationalities, and 6,200 managers in its professional development programs. The school has six campuses in France and abroad (Lyon, Saint-Étienne, Casablanca, Shanghai, Paris, Bhubaneswar), and can draw on a network of 181 international academic partners. In addition, it maintains a community of 32,000 alumni in 120 countries.
emlyon business school’s mission is to develop ‘makers,’ agents of transformation with a flair for teamwork, who anticipate, link worlds, handle and cultivate ideas, and see things and take action before others. This notion of ‘maker’ reflects the vision of the entrepreneur endorsed by emlyon business school: a maker tries, experiments, makes mistakes, starts again, and learns as they go. emlyon business school strives to cultivate these skills in a next-generation approach that combines the production and dissemination of excellence in academic research with the creation of innovative curriculums.
To meet the study needs of Chinese entrepreneurs and executives in the process of globalization and digital transformation, emlyon GEMBA Programs has developed and launched a brand-new curriculum system. In addition to the traditional core modules, it has introduced two specialized modules of globalization and digital transformation and pioneered Knowledge Management in Digital transformation, Business Decision-making with Artificial Intelligence and other groundbreaking courses in China, while Action Learning and other integrated courses are scheduled throughout the learning process. During the Program, participants will also go to France to join the Innovation Acceleration Camp.
International Business Trip
Each participant will take part in the Innovation Acceleration Camp in France. In addition to studying at our Lyon and Paris campuses, GEMBA Program will arrange business, cultural and art workshops as well as government and leading company visits for discussion and interaction to help participants experience French brands, culture, art, cuisine and many more, enrich their understanding of Western corporate management and society, and explore new ways to implement internationalization strategies in Chinese companies.
International Business Trip in France is a compulsory and core module of emlyon GEMBA Program. The International Business Trip is subject to an additional cost of RMB 58,000, which is not included in the program tuition and is payable to emlyon business school Asia Campus. The fee covers the cost of studying in France, including workshops and company visits in Europe, land transportation, accommodation, breakfast, lunch, tea break and some dinners. Round-trip airfare and part of accommodation and meals shall be borne by the participants.
