Prof. Chen has research interests in organizational behavior, consumer behvaior, and human resources management. She has conducted research projects for many organizations and reputable companies, including Solution of Performance Management Capability Improvement for China Communications Construction Group Co., Ltd. ; Overseas Compensation Design of International Business Personnel at China Communications Construction Group Co., Ltd.; Fixed Posts at China Unicom Shanxi Branch ; Fixed Posts at China Unicom Heilongjiang Branch ; Design of Account Manager Training System for Qinhuangdao Branch of China Mobile Communications Group Hebei Co., Ltd. ; Human Resource Management Improvement at Dandong Mobile ; Overseas Staff Recruitment Project of China Communications Construction Group Co., Ltd. ; Key Staff Capacity Assessment Project at Inner Mongolia Mobile.

She has published several books, including : "Telecommunications Consumer Psychology in the Whole Business Era" (People's Posts and Telecommunications Press, 2010) ; "I Want to Be an IT Elite - To College Students Who are Interested in Joining the IT Industry" (Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications Press, 2008) ; and “Leadership Book” (Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications Press, 2005)

Her outstanding work has won her several awards, including : the Outstanding Teaching Achievement Award (1st Runner-up) by China Electronic Education Society Higher Education (provincial and ministerial level) and the Excellent Publication Award by The National Institute of Higher Education (provincial and ministerial level) in 2009

Besides, Prof. Chen has been actively involved in public and professional services and served in many business committees. She is the Human Resources Management expert on CCTV's "Absolute Challenge", "Dialogue", "Enthusiasm Entrepreneurship" and "Psychological Interview" programs. She has also served as Visiting Professor in Tsinghua’s EMBA Program and has consulted for many international and Chinese companies, including : China Mobile Group, China Telecom, Beijing Electric Power, State Grid, Lenovo Group , China Earth Group, China CITIC Bank, etc.
