Events Overview

The 2019 summer Asian Campus Semester In-company Consulting Project (ICP) has kicked off on Thursday, April 11th, 2019 in East China Normal University. About 340 attendees participated in the meeting, including emlyon business school students (students are from four programs: International MSc in Luxury Management & Marketing, Sports Industry Management, International Hospitality Management, Digital Marketing & Data Science), Chinese students from East China Normal University, ICP company representatives as well as program directors and academic tutors.

The ICP Kick-off meeting is the first official meeting where company supervisors, emlyon academic tutors and students will gather together, getting the detailed ICP information at the academic level and discussing the project by group for the first time.

Keynote speeches

▲Ms. Faye Yan (Senior Operation Manager China Bachelor & Master Programs of emlyon business school Asia) made a welcome speech.


▲Prof. Antoine Haincourt (program director of International MSc in Sports Industry Management program, emlyon business school) presented the ICP academic content and procedures to the public.


▲Mr. Rüdiger C. Hollweg (General Manager of Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai), the ICP company representative, made a keynote speech to the public, presenting the history of Grand Kempinski Hotel, showing previous cooperation with emlyon business school in ICP, explaining to the public what ICP is and what support students can get from ICP companies.


Group discussion

This semester, emlyon business school Asia cooperated with around 45 domestic and international companies with over 50 real projects for students to work with.

Representatives from the following companies come to attend the meeting: Akka, Web2asia, Artefact APAC, Somfy Asia-Pacific, Oreca, Mailman, Fitness Boutique, Winnow Solutions, Mandarin Oriental, Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai.

After keynote speech part, groups of students met their company supervisors for the first time and discussed their projects together.
