Dr. Yeming (Yale) Gong, is Professor of Management Science, DBA advisor at Emlyon Business School, and visiting professor at Cornell University. He received the master degree from INSEAD, PhD degree from Rotterdam School of Management, and obtained the Post-Doctorate from University of Chicago. Prof. Gong’s main research interests include big data logistics, big data supply chain, intelligent operation strategy, and intelligent manufacturing. Prof. Gong has published 41 articles in leading international journals, such as Production and Operations Management, European Journal of Operational Research , IIE Transactions, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, International Journal of Production Economics, Annals of Operations Research etc, including 13 A/FT level articles. He has published book “Global Operations Strategy: Fundamentals and Practice” in Springer, which has been a best-selling book for years. The book has been globally adopted by more than 40 universities or business schools in Europe, USA, Australia, Africa, China, and other Asian Countries. According to a published scientometrics report by MHI in 2018, Prof. Gong is listed as top 10 scholar in the world and No.1 scholar in France in the field of material handling, measured by the degree of academic leadership.

ZHAO Xiande

Dr. Zhao Xiande is Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management, Director of CEIBS-GLP Centre of Innovations in Supply Chains and Services. Prior to joining CEIBS in January 2013, he was Professor of Operations Management in the Department of Decision Sciences and Managerial Economics and Director of the Centre of Supply Chain Management/Logistics, Li & Fung Institute of Supply Chain Management/Logistics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (2005 to 2012).

During the past twenty-five years, Dr. Zhao has been affiliated with a number of universities where he has held several academic and administrative positions. Meanwhile, he served as Director of the Institute for Supply Chain Integration and Service Innovation at South China University of Technology. Previously, he worked as an associate professor at City University of Hong Kong, Hampton University and University of Utah. He also held joint appointment as honoured professor or visiting professor at Fudan University, Xi’an Jiao Tong University, Wuhan University, Nankai University and Tianjin University.

Professor Zhao received his Ph.D. in Business Administration with a major in Operations Management and a minor in International Business from the University of Utah in the USA. He also received his MBA and MSc in Chemistry from the same University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Nankai University in China.

DING Wenxuan

Dr. Ding is a full professor of artificial intelligence and business analytics in the emlyon business school. She obtained Ph.D. in Cognitive Science and Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University, USA. She conducts forefront theoretical and empirical research on human-level machine intelligence, scientific discovery, and their applications in digital innovation, digital marketing, E-commerce, mobile commerce, and risk and security analysis. Her research has appeared in various top-tier journals including Information Systems Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Decision Support Systems, Springer Computational Intelligence Series, Defense & Security Analysis, Journal of Defense Modeling and Simulation, Safety Science, Oxford Journal of Management Mathematics, and the Proceedings of Association for Advancement of Artificial Intelligence. One of her recent research papers received the Best Paper Award in the Human-Computer Interaction Track at the prestigious International Conference in Information Systems in 2016. She was on the faculty at Indiana University, University of Illinois, Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, and National University of Singapore.

Dr. Lan is Associate Professor of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and Academic Director of EDP program at emlyon business school. He also serves as the Asia Representative for Academy of Management STR division. Dr. Lan earned his PhD in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2011. He was on the faculty of Peking University HSBC Business School for almost a decade. And he was the founding director of its Research Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Dr. Lan’s research interests focus on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, with special emphasis on digital platform and open source software ecosystems. Dr. Lan has published over 30 research papers in SSCI and CSSCI journals, peer-reviewed academic books, and major academic conferences, including a Best Paper Award in AOM annual conference 2015. He provided media commentaries for Shenzhen TV, Phoenix TV, TV Korea, China Daily, Southern Daily, and Global Talents, etc. Dr. Lan also had extensive industry experiences. He worked as software architect for tech giant Motorola and startup companies in the US. He also provided consulting and executive training services to companies in China, including China Post, PKU Shenzhen Research Institute and many startups.
