TDTU-emlyon 2025 BBA(2+2) Opening Ceremony

To further deepen international education cooperation and cultivate high-quality talents with a global vision, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and emlyon business school jointly held the Opening Ceremony and Public Demo Class for the 2025 intake of the 2+2 Global Business Administration Joint Program on September 22, 2025, at TDTU in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
This significant occasion not only marked new progress in the cooperation between the two institutions, but also signaled the official start of a new international academic journey for the incoming students.
During the opening ceremony, Prof. Isabelle Huault, Executive President and Dean of emlyon business school, together with Prof. Martine Ferry, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies at emlyon business school, delivered warm video messages to congratulate the new students and extend their best wishes.
The ceremony also welcomed several distinguished guests who delivered speeches.
From emlyon business school: Prof. William Hua Wang, Associate Dean of emlyon business school, Dean of emlyon Asia, and French Dean of Asia Europe Business School, Mr. Joniko Cao, Director of Recruitment and Operations emlyon Asia.

The ceremony also had the honor of hosting Mr. Andrea Taglioni, Officer for Scientific and Academic Cooperation, French Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Vietnam, and Mr. Alexandre Sompheng, Secretary General of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (CCIFV).

As part of the ceremony, the two institutions also exchanged gifts, further strengthening the friendship and cooperation among China, Vietnam, and France.
In the subsequent academic session, Prof. William Hua Wang delivered a special lecture titled “Sustainable Development of Humankind in the Era of AI – Meet Your Digital Twin.”
In a dynamic and creative atmosphere, Prof. Wang conducted the session in the format of an interactive workshop. He introduced students to cutting-edge AI technologies and personally guided them in using specialized software to create their very own “digital humans.”
The classroom was filled with excitement as groups of students actively discussed, shared ideas, and enthusiastically explored the first steps of building their digital twins. More than just a technology class, it was an inspiring learning experience that stimulated creativity and encouraged students to envision the potential applications of AI in their future studies, careers, and lives.
In a lively atmosphere, the demo class concluded successfully. Students left with fresh perspectives and profound insights — in the world of artificial intelligence, each of them is not only a learner but also a creator of future technological experiences.
