On the morning of December 12, a delegation led by Chen Jie, Party Secretary of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), visited the Paris campus of emlyon business school. The delegation was received by Nicolas Péjout, Executive Vice President of emlyon business school, Mark Smith, Vice President of emlyon business school and Nikola Zivlak, Associate Dean for Programs and International Cooperation, emlyon Asia.

During the visit, the two institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding on academic cooperation, marking a new phase in their strategic partnership. Both sides reached a strong consensus on deepening collaboration in key areas such as data science and artificial intelligence, as well as on expanding interdisciplinary cooperation across their respective strengths.

Looking ahead, the partnership will focus on developing innovative integrated undergraduate–graduate education pathways and strengthening industry–academia collaboration, with the aim of enhancing the global academic and innovation impact of both institutions and contributing to the development needs of strategic industries in China and France.
