WE DID IT! Team emlyon Asia takes 4th place in the inaugural CR-ULTRA GOBI!

The inaugural COLLEGIATE RELAY ULTRA GOBI (CR-ULTRA GOBI) has come to a close, with Team emlyon Asia finishing 4th in 09:23:41!

As the first founding partner of the CR-ULTRA GOBI, emlyon business school sent Team emlyon Asia, made up of 8 ACS students and 1 team leader, to take on the 121 km relay race across the Gobi Desert, alongside university teams from around the world.

Set in the challenging landscape of Qingquan, Guazhou, the race featured a variety of demanding terrain, from rocky desert trails and river valleys to salt flats and hills. Each section tested the participants’ endurance, physical strength and ability to adapt.

For every member of Team emlyon Asia, this was more than a relay. Each runner had to push their own limits and complete their own leg of the race, while contributing to the team’s journey as a whole.

This is a medal of achievement for Team emlyon Asia, and a moment of pride for emlyon.

Our thanks go to every team member for their commitment and determination, members from GOBI 21 for their courage and support, as well as to all the event staff, volunteers and teams behind the scenes who made this challenging and memorable race possible.
