MSc in Global Innovation & Entrepreneurship 2025 cohort undertook an immersive study trip to Oulu, the“Engine of Nordic Innovation”. The experience helped students explore a top-tier tech and startup ecosystem, bridging academic knowledge with real-world innovation practices.
Nordic Innovation Ecosystem Learning
At Oulu Business School, students studied core frontier topics including consumer behavior, innovation management and 6G tech economics. Via case studies and seminars, they learned to convert technological strengths into commercial value and understood Finland’s innovation-focused development and sustained tech R&D investment.
Industry Insights & Practical Learning
Students visited Business Oulu, Oulu's core innovation agency. Exchanges with industry experts deepened their understanding of Finnish tech commercialization and startup support systems. The on-site visit validated classroom theories, effectively linking innovation knowledge with real business operations.
Cross-Cultural Growth & Global Networking
Students engaged with international peers on campus, participating in diverse academic and community activities. These cross-cultural interactions strengthened their communication and teamwork skills, while building valuable global professional networks.
