Prof. Liu has served as Lecturer, Associate Professor, Professor, Department Head, Head of Graduate Work Department and Director of Student Affairs Management Department at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Since 2006, Prof. Liu has served as Professor of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications School of Economics and Management, teaching the course “Enterprise Strategic Management” for MBA and EMBA Programs and the courses of “Corporate Governance”, “Mobile Internet Business Model” and “Internet Finance” for MBA, EMBA and undergraduate programs.

Prior to returning to the academic field, Prof. Liu had served as Assistant General Manager of China Unicom's Enterprise Development Department, General Manager of China Unicom Guomai Communication Co., Ltd., General Manager of China Unicom's Comprehensive Department and Party Secretary of Liaoning Unicom.
