Prof. LV is currently Professor of Management at School of Economics and Management, BUPT, and he has been previously the Dean of School of Economics and Management. Prof. LV mainly works on teaching and research projects in the fields of network economy and e-commerce. He has published hundreds of conferences and journal papers and completed dozens of scientific research work on topics like the "Research on the Countermeasures for Developing China's National Information Infrastructure" and National 973 "Future Network - Network Science Model (Sub-Question 5)" funded by the Department of Technology and Science of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the  "Research on the Development of China's E-Commerce and Its Infrastructure" by the World Bank, “Effects of E-Commerce on Modern Service Industry” by the State Council Information Office at both state and provincial level. His major publications include "What, Why and How to Do E-Commerce" and "The Power of Mobile".

Prof. LV currently teaches courses in "E-Commerce", "Information Economics" and "Economic Game Theory", and provides lectures for the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
