Shanghai recently hosted a series of business lectures and events designed to shape the future leaders of global business, with Wenzhou-Kean University (WKU) and the internationally renowned emlyon business school as core participants. Students from ACS program joined peers from several other prestigious local universities in these events. Through this series, ACS students experienced a deep integration of cross-cultural learning, multi-campus exposure, and engagement with leading corporate practices.
Wenzhou-Kean University, an institution rooted in China with profound international heritage in education, played a pivotal role as a host in this lecture series. WKU infused the program design with its extensive experience in cross-cultural education and deep understanding of both Chinese and American educational systems, aiming to provide students with opportunities for dialogue aligned with international standards.
As one of Europe's and the world's top business schools, students from emlyon business school’s ACS program had the privilege of being invited to join this series. They gained the opportunity to learn from world-class business professors, access cutting-edge business theories, and engage in collaborative learning with outstanding students from around the globe, thereby significantly broadening their international perspectives and deepening their understanding of diverse market environments.
Through this lecture series provided by Wenzhou-Kean University, ACS students gained in-depth insights into the Chinese market, engaged in dialogues with corporate managers, and participated in diverse practical activities such as industry training. This two-way, open cultivation model enabled students to enhance their cross-cultural communication skills and practical problem-solving abilities within authentic global business scenarios.
It is worth noting that in a previous "UNAI Shanghai Weekend: Education · Innovation · Global Connectivity" study tour, which involved both universities, students from Wenzhou-Kean University, emlyon business school, Duke University, New York University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and other globally renowned institutions jointly visited enterprises and organizations in Shanghai. Through activities including legal lectures, corporate visits, and cultural experiences, they integrated classroom knowledge with practical application. This model of multi-institutional collaboration and the integration of industry and education vividly embodies the educational philosophy advocated by the "Global Talent Program."
Through the lecture series organized by Wenzhou-Kean University, emlyon business school has equipped its students with solid professional expertise, forged their global leadership capabilities, and honed their innovative thinking and practical problem-solving skills. This series of events represents a forward-looking and proactive exploration and contribution towards cultivating a new generation of business leaders capable of guiding future socio-economic development.
